IG-30 Rachel Conduit - After The Fire

$900.00

Three years ago there were bush fires lit at Star Swamp Reserve. This fire occurred in March, but within months, regrowth was plentiful and the bird-life abundant. The resilience and resolve of nature, and in particular, the xanthorrhoea tree, is a lesson we can learn from. The liberal use of gold symbolizes how precious and rich the West Australian landscape is, and the renewal which takes place is something to be inspired by. The rainbow is often a symbol of hope, so it is only fitting that the rainbow lorikeet is the hope of new life in my work.
